Last Monday, our FELUBA coaches took part in an extensive PRO COACH EDUCATION session led by ours Agent de Développement, Rainer Diehl & Adrien Guignard.
The session focused on strengthening coaching knowledge, exchanging ideas, and developing practical approaches applicable on and off the court. By investing in the education of our coaches, we continue to build an environment where players of all levels can learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
A big thank you to Rainer Diehl for sharing his expertise and for his continued commitment to the development of badminton in Luxembourg.

A fantastic achievement for our young athlete Rebecca Lo Cane, who proudly represented FELUBA at the HEBAR U17 Bulgaria Open 2026!
The highlight of the tournament was the women’s doubles, where Rebecca and her Bulgarian partner Teodora Pavlova produced an outstanding run to reach the FINAL. After an excellent tournament, they finished as runners-up, earning a well-deserved silver medal. 🥈👏
Rebecca also impressed in the mixed doubles, reaching the semi-finals alongside her Polish partner Kacper Grabarz, while in the women’s singles she advanced to the Round of 16, where she was defeated by England’s Nidhi Shukla, a tournament semi-finalist.
Congratulations, Rebecca, on another outstanding international performance! Your determination, hard work, and continuous progress make us incredibly proud. We can’t wait to see what comes next! 💙🏸

Last weekend, the FELUBA family stepped out of the badminton hall and into nature for an unforgettable adventure in Dinant, Belgium.
Together, our officials, coaches, and athletes
from our youngest talents to our junior and cadre players, completed a 12 km kayaking journey along the beautiful Lesse River.
At the Luxembourg Badminton Federation (FELUBA), we believe that success isn’t built only through training sessions and competitions. Moments like these strengthen
friendships, build trust, create lifelong memories, and give everyone the chance to refresh their minds before returning to court with renewed energy and motivation.

Victory for Sherry Gong in WD
A total of 21 FELUBA athletes of age categories U11, U13 and U15 participated at Hexen cup international tournament near Konstanz lake.
Due to the extreme heat, the tournament format has been modified – singles were played in a knockout system, there were no mixed doubles in U11 and there were no doubles in U13 and U15.
Despite these changes, FELUBA achieved some excellent results:
Sherry Gong won the girl´s doubles title together with her partner from 1. BC Saarbrücken-Bischmisheim.
Lorin Perfido and Julie Schmit finished in 3rd place in mixed doubles.
Many other athletes reached quarterfinals in singles.

Proud weekend for Young FELUBA Athletes in Austria!
Our young athletes reached 4 finals at the Hofsteig International Tournament in Wolfurt/Lauterach, with every player winning at least one match. 13 national players from U11 to U13 competed over the week-end. A special shoutout to Sherry and Chengyuan for reaching two finals each! 👏
