🇱🇺 Luxembourg’s run at the Bonn Future Series came to an end in the Men’s Doubles quarter-finals, with 2nd seeds Yannick Feltes and Jerome Pauquet falling 21-13, 21-15 to Chinese Taipei’s Yu Yi / Nuot M. on Friday.
The Luxembourg pair had opened the tournament strongly, defeating Ukraine’s Y. Romaniuk / F. Tiurin 21-14, 21-11 before following up with another solid victory over Germany’s H. Graalmann / F. Schütt to reach the last eight.
In Men’s Singles, Jerome Pauquet pushed Turkey’s N. Sarac to three games before losing 21-13, 17-21, 21-10. After fighting back well to take the second game, he was unable to maintain the momentum in the decider.
In Mixed Doubles, Yannick Feltes and Zoe Sinico faced the tournament’s top seeds from Switzerland, losing 21-14, 21-10 in the opening round.
Bonn marks the final tournament before the summer training phase, where the focus will shift to development and preparation for a busy second half of the international season. 🇱🇺

After our athletes competed in the 2026 VICTOR BULGARIA JUNIOR OPEN last weekend in the city of Pazardzhik, they traveled to Sofia, where they are currently participating in a training camp at the Bulgarian National Team’s training center. The camp runs from May 24 to 30.
The training camp is led by coach Shai Geffen, one of the coaches of the European champions, the Stoeva sisters.
This is an excellent experience for our young athletes in their development, allowing them to observe different players, notably the Bulgarian singles player Kaloyana
NALBANTOVA, ranked 43rd in the world.
It is worth noting that the Bulgarian women’s national team recently won the European championship.
Our thanks go to the Bulgarian Federation, national team coach Petya Nedelcheva, and Shai Geffen for the training sessions.

Another tournament where our athletes competed and showed their progress, this time at the Adria U17 Indoor Championships held in Opatija, Croatia.
Notable performances included the round of 16 for Rebecca Lo Cane, Eloise Guglielmetti and Filip Liska in the singles.
However, the biggest achievement goes to the pair Filip Liska and Kenan Tursic, who reached the quarter-finals in the men’s doubles, where they were defeated by the tournament’s number 1 seeds in a very closely fought match.
