🏸 FELUBA General Assembly 2026
A great evening in Platen bringing together 19 out of 20 clubs of the Luxembourg Badminton Federation, in the presence of Minister of Sports Martine Hansen and COSL President Michel Knepper.
2025 confirms a strong growth of badminton in Luxembourg:
📈 +71% licensed players since 2020
🔥 Record participation across all competitions
A key highlight of the evening was the presentation of our new strategic vision, built collaboratively between the federation’s professionals and the Central Committee:
👉 Play • Progress • Perform
The Central Committee and President were re-elected unanimously, ready for the challenges ahead in the coming years, reflecting the trust and stability within the federation.
📌 The coming years will be crucial to adapt our structures, competitions and governance to this growth and ensure a sustainable development of badminton in Luxembourg.
🙏 Thank you to all clubs, volunteers, partners and institutions for their continued support.

Our athletes took part in the IBERDOLA Spanish U19 2026 tournament.
Although the draw was not in our athletes’ favour, with most of their first-round matches pitting them against Asian athletes,
we can see how our athletes have developed, as they are able to compete with these opponents, which bodes well for the future.
It is worth noting that of the three athletes who took part, two are still competing at U17 level.
